Dr. Luke Smith
Dr. Luke Smith grew up in Oneonta, AL as one of 12 siblings, and he’s always appreciated the joy and connection that come with a big family. He was homeschooled through high school and developed a passion for service through mission trips to Central America, Russia, and Thailand. These trips sparked his love for working with children, especially through children’s ministry.
Dr. Smith earned his dental degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 2022. During dental school, he spent as much time as possible in the pediatric clinic, where he discovered his calling to specialize in pediatric dentistry. He went on to complete his pediatric dental residency at the University of Kentucky, graduating in 2024. His training included extensive hands-on experience both in the clinic and operating room, managing a wide range of pediatric cases from simple to complex.
Returning to his roots, Dr. Smith always knew he wanted to serve families in Alabama. In 2024, he was thrilled to join Little Critters Pediatric Dentistry and begin caring for the communities he’s always called home. He’s excited for the journey ahead!
